LYSAGHT® SMARTDEK® is an innovative “W” profiled deck panel with greater coverage per weight of steel. It is used as permanent formwork in conventional slabs, as well as bottom tensile reinforcement in composite slab designs. The 51mm high ribs provide strength for excellent span capacity with less deflection, provide a safe working platform during construction, and reduce concrete volume for superior savings. Embossment at the top of the flange provides excellent mechanical linkage between steel and concrete, particularly suitable for composite slab construction.
